Cereria Lumen collaborates on a scientific research project with the Politecnico di Milano and the University of Insubria on the study of emissions from the combustion of candles.
It’s the first European scientific research in the field.
With this help we aim to select products that are safe in all aspects including combustion. The research will also assess the toxicological aspects and simulate the burning of candles in the domestic environment.
This project was born in the wake of the experience of Allergene Free, a quality project resulting from the need to create a line of candles and perfumers free of substances classified as allergenic, but also without polycyclic musks and phthalates (components of dubious safety present in many fragrances). This commitment has borne fruit so much that, born for a product line, has dictated our quality standard today by extending this concept of quality to all our production. This is the "quality project" of Cereria Lumen that this year will evolve towards security.
