How many sessions of electrostimulation can be performed weekly?

As for physical preparation sessions, it is advisable to refer to the weekly programs reported in the Personal Trainer. The number of sessions depends on the type of treatment. If it is toning, we recommend 3-4 weekly sessions every other day. If the treatment is lipolysis and drainage, daily treatments can also be carried out.

After how long can you see the first results?

The results obtained in the aesthetic field are naturally subjective. It is possible to say, however, that, as far as toning is concerned, a frequency of 3-4 regular and constant weekly sessions can lead to a good result already after 15 days; for electrolipolysis and electroplating treatments it takes 40 days. Better and faster results are obtained if the treatments are combined with good physical activity and a proper lifestyle.

The presence of dermatological pathologies such as psoriasis, urticaria, etc. prohibit the use of the electrostimulator?

Yes, it is definitely not recommended to treat all skin areas with important dermatological pathologies.

Is it possible to use the electrostimulator during the menstrual cycle?

Any interference, such as anticipation, delay, accentuation or reduction of the cycle are extremely subjective and variable. It is however advisable to avoid treatments in the abdominal area during the cycle and in the immediate pre-post cycle.

Is it possible to use the electrostimulator while breastfeeding?

To date, no side effects have been found with regard to the use of electrostimulation during lactation. It is however advisable not to treat the thoracic area.

If when I increase the intensity to more than 10 mA the intensity immediately returns to 0, what happened?

As already described in the user manuals, the appliance has a power supply control. If you increase the intensity value to more than 10 mA and the circuit is open, the electrostimulator returns the value to 0. It is therefore necessary before starting any treatment, make sure that the cables are connected, that the electrodes are placed on the area to be treated and that they are not too worn as this would compromise their conductivity.

Which electrodes should I use?

It is advisable to use self-adhesive electrodes that allow a better quality of stimulation and greater ease of use. With the appropriate care, for example clean skin, they can also be used for 25 - 30 applications. The electrodes should always be replaced if they do not remain perfectly adherent and in contact with the skin.

Where should the electrodes be placed?

In this manual, you will find pictures of the placement of the electrodes in all parts of the body (it is not necessary to respect the indicated polarity). It is enough then to follow these directions. However, it is possible to verify the correct positioning using the appropriate search engine point pen or using the following empirical method: apply the electrodes as shown, then during stimulation, with one hand push the electrode in various directions by sliding the skin over the muscle. You will notice an increase or decrease in stimulation depending on the location of the electrodeostex. Once you have identified the point where the stimulation is greatest lower the channel intensity to zero (0.0 mA), place the electrode back and gradually increase the intensity.

Use of split cables and split cables

They allow you to use multiple electrodes with the same channel. This allows you to work for example on the vast medial and on the vast lateral of the quadriceps with the same channel; you can then use both channels and perform at the same time the treatment for the two limbs involving 4 muscles. It is not recommended for medical applications.

Does the use of splitter cables lead to a decrease in power?

The current intensity delivered for each single channel does not change but, using the splitting cables on a channel, the current is distributed over a greater muscle mass so the contraction will be less marked. To get the same contraction, you have to raise the intensity. With the electro stimulator switched off, disconnect the electrode cables and plug the battery charger connector into the appropriate socket. Connect the battery charger to the 220V mains socket.

Can electrostimulation hurt you?

It’s hard to get muscle damage. An important principle to follow is to gradually increase the intensity by paying attention to the behavior of the muscle, while avoiding to keep the limb completely extended. In case of uncertainty, consult a specialist.
